Will my website, urls and web pages still work or will they be dead links or error?
You will always be able to access a website file using the NOT SECURE http:// protocol (like it is now). SSL is just another WAY to access the same files (SECURELY) via https://.
So, if you currently have a NOT SECURE web page at http://www.HostingCheck.com/example.html – you can STILL access it that way. It will not show up as a dead link or error.
Additionally, via .htaccess (advanced) – there is a way to automatically redirect all urls/traffic to the https (secure) version. You would want to ask your webmaster about this or you could contact support for more info.
What PROOF OF IDENTITY do I have to provide - to get the SSL Certificate issues?
