If you have requested to transfer your Domain Out / Away from HostingCheck, and you are now just waiting for us to RELEASE the Domain,
The process takes a minimum of 5 days and then the domain gets released automatically.
Per ICANN regulations, once the Gaining Registrar (your new Domain Registration Company) has received transfer verification from the registrant or administrative contact for the domain(s), the Register of Record (We use ENOM as our Registrar of Record) has five days to manually approve the transfer.
If the Registrar of Record (We use ENOM as our Registrar of Record) doesn't manually approve the transfer within five (5) days, the registry will automatically complete the transfer (meaning, that the transfer takes a minimum of 5 days, since ENOM does not "manually approve transfers").
IMPORTANT NOTE: The five day waiting period begins once the Registrar of Record (We use ENOM as our Registrar of Record) has been notified of the transfer request by the registry. This typically occurs within 12-24 hours after the transfer has been approved by you or your client.
To check the status of an outgoing transfer, please visit http://whois.enom.com/ and do a whois lookup on the domain. If the status displays as "pending transfer," the five day waiting period has started.
Please note that many registrars, including eNom (OUR REGISTRAR), do not issue ACK commands (meaning, that the transfer takes a minimum of 5 days, since ENOM does not "mannually approve transfers").
