If you want to Transfer a Domain OUT / AWAY from HostingCheck - when the Domain is already EXPIRED:
First, we don't know any or all of the specific Rules or Procedures of any other Domain Registration Company - so we cannot ever provide explicit instructions to do so - and thus, you should obviously consult your NEW Domain Registration Company and ask them for this specific information.
BUT, we can provide you with the BASICS of Domain Transfer - when the Domain is already EXPIRED:
1. The Domain CAN only be transferred if it has NOT gone into REDEMPTION Status - which is usually 29 days after expiration.
1. The Domain CAN only be transferred if it has NOT gone into REDEMPTION Status - which is usually 29 days after expiration.
2. You will need US to MANUALLY UNLOCK your Domain - OPEN A TECH SUPPORT TICKET and REQUEST that we MANUALLY UNLOCK your EXPIRED DOMAIN.
3. You will need US to MANUALLY Email the Auth / EPP Code for your Domain - OPEN A TECH SUPPORT TICKET and REQUEST that we MANUALLY Email the Auth / EPP Code for your Domain. We can ONLY send the Auth / EPP Code for your Domain to the WHOIS REGISTRANT Email Contact at the time the Domain Expired (NO EXCEPTIONS, EVER!).
4. EXPIRED Domains cannot be MODIFIED. In other words, we cannot modify the WHOIS Contacts once a Domain Expires. Thus, if your domain has Expired, and you did not have Valid WHOIS REGISTRANT Email Contact at the time the Domain Expired - you will need to Renew the Domain for one more year in order to make changes to the Domain.
5. The Domain has to be Paid and in good standing (In other words, you cannot have Past Due bills, etc. with the Domain Registration Company - otherwise they can hold the Domain).
